In addition to providing recognition as a company attracting employees to the prefecture, the following financial aid programs are granted to factories or company branches in the manufacturing, information services, logistics (transportation, warehousing, wholesalers) and local research industries located in Miyazaki prefecture according to the number of new recruits based in Miyazaki.

   1. Recognition as a company attracting employees to the prefecture

Main conditions for recognition ・Companies that comply with prefectural industry location policies.
・Companies designated as those attracting employees to prefecture through by the municipal government.
・Companies expected to have the following number of new recruits within their first year of operation

(1) Manufacturing, logistics 5 recruits
(2) Information services, local research 3 recruits

Main form of aid ・Consultations and company visits regarding locations, operations and expansions
・Consultations regarding employment and financial conditions, extensive information provided by the prefecture


   2. Company relocation incentives- the highest in Kyushu at 5 billion yen!

*1 "New facilities" refers to when companies who do not have headquarters or any factories in Miyazaki establish a new factory there, or when companies which have headquarters or a factory in Miyazaki establish a new factory, etc. as a venture in another applicade company location category. This also apples to an estadishrnent or expansion al a factory in the Specific Zone (the Miyazaki Freeway Industrial Park).
*2 'Expansions" refer to companies with headquarters or factories located in Miyazaki that are planning to establish new factories, etc. or expand the scale of existing factories, etc.
*3 'Specific Zone" refers to boating within the Miyazaki Freeway Industdal Pad,
*4 "Designated Regions" refers to locating businesses in undeveloped regions (defined by the Miyazaki Prefecture Ordinance on Promoting Undeveloped Regions (Miyazaki Prefecture Ordnance #20, 2011), Article 2, Paragraph 1, Items 1-5 (excluding former municipal divisions M some regions)).
*5 'Priority Fields' refers to the 5 fields of the food business industry, the environmental and energy industry, the medical device industry, the automotive industry, and high-tech industries.
*6Manufacturing grants are applicable for "Plant factories" performing advanced environmental controls.

Miyazaki Company Location Promotion Grants

Miyazaki Prefecture has established a wide range of incentives for companies in the information services industry that locate business facilities in Miyazaki. The prefectural grants can be combined with grants provided by local municipalities.

*1 "New facilities" refers to when companies, who do not have any business facilities in Miyazaki, establish a new business facility there, or when companies which have headquarters or a factory engaged in business other than in the information services industry establish new business fadities as a new information service industry venture. This also applies to an establish-ment or expansion of business facilities in a Specific Zone (the Miyazaki Freeway Industrial Park).
*2 "Expansions" refer to companies located in Miyazaki that are planning to establish new facilities or expand the scale of existing facilities,
*3 Large-scale businesses adding up to 300 new employees in the prefecture will receive grants matching those of general businesses. If 301 or more employees are reached within 5 years of commencing operations, the difference in Employee Allocation Grants, second and additional Investment Allocation Grants and Facility Development Grants, and fourth and additional Communication Use Usage Grants may be applied for.
*4 "Specific Zone" refers to locating within the Miyazaki Freeway Industrial Park.
*5 "Designated Regions" refers to locating businesses in underdeveloped regions (defined by the Miyazaki Prefecture Ordnance on Promoting Underdeveloped Regions (Miyazaki Prefecture Ordinance #20, 2011), Article 2, Paragraph 1, Items 1-5 (excluding former municipal divisions in some regions)).
*6 "Priority Fields" refers to information services industries that apply ICT to advance the level of Miyazaki' s industrial structure or widely-spread technology to other industries in the prefecture,


4) Financial aid for the acquisition of land earmarked for the Freeway Industrial Estate.
Provision of 30% of land acquisition costs for companies using the municipal financial aid program (15% subsidy for land acquisition costs) for the acquisition of land in the Freeway Industrial Estate.

5) High speed communication wiring (only for the information service industry)
Provision of 50% of yearly high speed communication wiring costs over 3 to 5 years (limited to ¥20 million yen per year).

6) Financial aid for facility maintenance costs (only for the information service industry)
Provision of 1/3 of modification costs to existing facilities (limited to 25,000 yen per m2).
